Special Needs Groups

These individuals experience sensory perception in a very different manner. For them the pulse of the drum is a call to joy, expression and participation that is hard to explain to anyone who hasn't experienced it. Drumming gives them an opportunity to have their voice be heard and contribute to the group.

We use the drum as a tool to communicate with those who are mentally or physically challenged
Exercises in cognitive and motor skills are emphasized
Vocalizing through song or conversation are encouraged

Professional Facilitation

Our drum circles are facilitated by Maureen 'Moe' Jerant who is an Endorsed Remo HealthRhythms facilitator and professional drummer. Moe will bring a drum circle to your location and provide drums and percussion instruments for participants. All programs are designed with your specific goals in mind.
